Australia Launch Its First Home-Made Rocket ERIS-1 One More Delay

 Earlier Thursday,  15 May Australian space firm Gilmour Space announced that we all set to launch our first self-made rocket Eris-1 Today but further it's announced one more delay, and launching postponed till Friday, May 16.

Launching Of Australia's First Home-Made Rocket ERIS-1 Delayed One-More Time-

Gilmour Space announced recently that the launching of Eris-1 will be postponed till Friday May 16th due to finding a glitch in ground support system of rocket. 

A official of Gilmour Space technologies told to media about technical glitch-
We recognize the glitch but we can't fix it today quickly and not continue the launching because of limited time window of launch.

We have a long time window to launch after a day Friday, and if it successfully launched then it creates history and became first made in Australia satellite who reach to orbit in the space.

This is a 23 meter long launching vehicle which is designed specially for launching low weight satellites in  Low Earth Orbit. 

It is first testing lilting and it's will carry a Vegemite-Jar a symbol of Australia culture toast topping Jar.

The launching team not accepting that all launching process working smoothly and 100% surely of success of its first testing.

It will be great moment of happiness if rocket lifted up in the air about 30 sec.,20 sec. also. We all team member working non stop more then four and a half years.

Australia's First Self-made Orbital Rocket Details and Specifications-

  • Is rocket is fully developed and designed by Australia's native firm Gilmour Space technology.
  •  The length of rocket is about 23 meters long as 7 story building.
  • It's development cost is about 600 million US dollars and 4.5 years of hard work of 200 employees.
  • The weight of rocket is nearly 30,000 kgs and can reach maximum speed of 27,500 kph.
  • The launchers aspeceting 200 km height from the ground.
  • The rocket use liquid hydrogen as a propulsion fuel. 
  • The payload capacity of Australia's first Eris-1 rocket is just 215 kg to launch in sun synchronous in LEO.
